Bentley University Launches General Business Core Requirement Using Enterprise Resource Planning Software from SAP

Beginning this fall, Bentley University will require all junior-year business students to take a Business Processes and Systems course.  A key component of the course is the use of SAP ERP software.

U.S. and International High School Students Explore Wall Street and Campus Life at Bentley University

A group of 45 U.S. and international high school students gathered at Bentley University this summer to get an inside look at the financial industry and a taste of college life. Wall Street 101 is a week-long residential business camp held on the Bentley campus in Waltham, Mass. First offered in 2000, the educational summer camp gained immediate popularity among future financiers and has been featured in USA Today and on CNBC.

Graduate Orientation will take place as planned today.

The university’s plans for undergraduate first year student move-in, First Week, and Convocation are also scheduled to take place as planned on Tuesday, August 30.

Bentley University announces the appointment of Michael Quinn as associate PhD director. Quinn, who most recently served as associate professor of economics and associate director of the honors program at Bentley, will promote and develop the university’s doctoral program.

Bentley University Hosts 7th International Summer Institute

For the seventh consecutive year, Bentley hosted the International Summer Institute at Bentley (ISIB), held July 11 to July 30. This year's program brought 41 advanced undergraduate and graduate business students from 12 different countries -- including Australia, Austria, China, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Malaysia, Moldova, Morocco, Russia and Ukraine -- for a three-week intensive study of key prevailing business trends.

Bentley University Professor Dominique Haughton Elected as American Statistical Association Fellow

The American Statistical Association (ASA) has announced the election of Dominique Haughton, Bentley University professor of mathematical sciences, as an ASA Fellow. Fellows are recognized for their outstanding professional contributions and leadership in the field of statistical science. Haughton is one of 58 new fellows, hailing from 25 states, Canada, and Singapore. The fellows will receive their certificates on August 2 at the annual Joint Statistical Meetings in Miami Beach, Florida.
