Special Library Hours: Friday, May 8th - Sunday, May 17th

The library’s hours change for the period of time after finals end and before the start of summer session. Hours will change again when summer session classes begin on Monday, May 18. Please note that the Deloitte Café/Einstein’s closes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, for the duration of the summer.

Library Hours Friday, May 8 – Sunday, May 17, 2015

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (open at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 8th)

Now Showing in the Art Gallery: Subservience by Tony Schwensen

Now showing in the McGladrey Art Gallery is an exhibit of 100 drawings created by Australian artist Tony Schwensen during a durational performance on April 25, 2015 - Anzac Day in the artist's home country. This year marked the 100th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli, the beginning of the first major military campaign fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I.

24-Hour Access for Exams Begins Monday, April 27

The Bentley Library will be open for 24-hour access most days* of final exams period, beginning on Monday, April 27 (two days before Reading Day) and ending on Thursday, May 7 (the last day of exams). Special Exhibit of Jackie Robinson Memorabilia: Wednesday, April 22

Wednesday, April 15, 2015, marked the 68th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the major league color barrier. Jackie Robinson Day has been celebrated annually since 2004 by Major League Baseball players, coaches, managers and umpires, who don #42 on their jerseys in honor of Robinson and his historic career.

Patriots' Day Holiday Weekend Hours

The library has modified hours during the Patriots' Day holiday weekend. On Sunday, April 19, we will open late at 1:00 p.m. and close early at 9:00 p.m. On Monday, April 20, we will open late at 10:00 a.m. The Deloitte Café/Einstein's has also adjusted hours on Sunday and Monday.

Saturday, April 18: (no changes) library: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. café: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 19: library: 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. café: 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Wireless Network Upgrade & Wifi Disruptions on Thursday, April 9

On Thursday,  April 9th,  network services will be upgrading the wireless access points in the library. There will be minor disruptions to wireless network access while the upgrades are occurring. Patrons can continue to access the internet using the library’s public computers and laptop users may connect to the network using an ethernet cable. Ethernet cables may be borrowed from the Computing Services Help Desk and the Library Services Desk.
