A quick giggle. A soft chuckle. A hearty laugh that erupts into a surprising snort. Stifling a laugh because you are in public, causing your whole body to shake uncontrollably. Laughing so hard you can hardly catch your breath. Laughing so hard you cry. Laughing so hard you wet your pants. Whatever form it takes, we feel better after a laugh (well, unless you have soggy pants)! The goal of this book display is to lighten the mood.

The Bentley Library will be closed on Sunday, July 1, and Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. We will be open normal summer hours the remainder of the week. For more information, please view the hours calendar. Happy Fourth of July!

Answering questions about sports as a business and analyzing consumer information relevant to sports are easy and fun tasks with Sports Market Analytics. Formerly called SBRNet, Sports Market Analytics (SMA) delivers industry news, summaries, metrics, articles and statistics about sports through a user-friendly and well-developed site. SMA organizes its demographic information into 2 spheres:

Bentley University's ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Center and Writing Center are now open and accepting appointments from all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in summer session classes. Walk-ins are welcome (please check their hours before dropping in), but appointments are strongly encouraged. Use the appointment links provided below. Both centers are located on the lower level of the library. Please note that this summer the Writing Center is offering online (synchronous) assistance!

At the end of every academic year we rank the library’s most popular books, audiobooks, DVDs, and OverDrive downloadable ebooks and audiobooks based on the number of times they have been borrowed (excluding items placed on reserve for a class). These are our very own "Bentley Bestsellers" lists! What stood out this year?

Finally have some free time to catch up on your leisure reading? The library's new acquisitions lists are a great place to start browsing! We added more than 200 new books, DVDs, and audiobooks to the library's collections in May. Go to the New Books & DVDs page to browse the new arrivals by subject or format. When you see something you want, click the “Request” button to place a hold on it.

The Bentley Library's collection of audiobooks is available for all your summer road trips! Weekend coastal drives or sitting in traffic waiting to get to the coast, in either case, listening to a good narrator makes the trip more enjoyable. Audiobooks are also great for taking long walks, gardening, sunbathing or just hanging out on the lawn.
