Museum Pass Update! What You Need to Know to Secure a Discounted Pass.

Looking to spend some time indoors during this wintry weather at an area museum? If you’ve requested a discounted pass from us in the past and have tried do so recently, you might be wondering what happened to our museum pass reservation system. As the saying goes, all good and (simple) things must come to an end. That’s not to say that we don’t have discounted passes, because we do and will continue to have them into the future! Unfortunately, we were told, on extremely short notice, that our reservation system vendor was shutting down.

New Museum Pass: New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill

Bentley Library is thrilled to announce a new offering in our Museum Pass Program! As you may have heard back in June, Harvard Art Museums changed their admission policies and became free to all. That change in policy allowed us to reallocate the money we had been using for our membership to another area attraction. We are excited to formally announce that Bentley students, staff, and faculty can now reserve passes to the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. These passes will admit 2 people at 50% off the general admission price.

Museums Offer an Escape While We #StayHome.

It has now been five weeks since we have been told to “stay home” and we are sure you are all going just a bit stir crazy these days. Under normal circumstances, we would be looking to our cultural institutions to help us get out of our doldrums and explore without having to leave Massachusetts. We are lucky enough at Bentley Library to be able to offer access to world-class institutions throughout the state and being stuck at home has not changed that! Here is a look at what museums are doing to stay connected and stay vibrant in a virtual world:
