Emergency Contraception

Emergency contraception, also known as the morning after pill, can be taken to help prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse. Though it is most effective when taken right away, it can be used up to 5 days after intercourse.

Emergency contraception is available at the Health Center during our regular office hours. Please call (781) 891-2222 to make an appointment. You can tell the reception staff your matter is private and be connected directly to a medical provider.

When the Health Center is closed, you can obtain emergency contraception at a local pharmacy, urgent care, or emergency room.
