Orientation Leaders

The New Falcon Experience

To ensure a smooth transition to Bentley University, we utilize a tiered approach to onboarding our new students. Bentley Beginnings is the start of your journey, then course registration, and we complete the experience with our New Falcon Orientation program prior to the start of classes. In addition, we provide some other experiences to engage before the start of the semester:

  • Virtual Social Events
  • Virtual Meet Up with Orientation Staff
  • Weekly Newsletters
  • Social media, follow us on instagram: @welcomefalcons

Getting Started

To get started, set up your Bentley email address. This is the main way that we will communicate updates and information with you, so it's important to check it regularly. Additionally, you will use these credentials to log into all your new Bentley accounts. However, please remember that your BentleyConnect portal log-in is whatever email and password you used throughout the admission process.

Next, please read through the New Falcon Experience website. This page includes important information and resources to prepare you for your first semester at Bentley, including mandatory community tasks, that all new falcons must complete.

You can find a copy of your New Student Checklist in your BentleyConnect Portal. Make sure to check the portal regularly, to stay on track.

New Student Checklist

Your New Falcon Experience website and BentleyConnect portal will:

  • Be your main hub throughout your onboarding and orientation experience
  • Introduce you to fun ways to connect with your peers
  • Outline your New Student Checklist with helpful instructions
  • Include reminders and share important ways to maximize your Bentley experience

Please check the website nd BentleyConnect regularly as we will add tasks and info throughout your New Falcon Experience.

New Falcon Family Orientation

We are lucky to have such a global community of Bentley family members, parents, and supporters. So, to be able to reach all families with our orientation content, we will be hosting zoom webinars, called Falcon Live Chats where we provide important information about campus, the new student experience, and help answer questions. We also have additional resources on our Family webpage, and we will provide helpful resources on Instagram, so please make sure to follow us @welcomefalcons. If you are unable to attend our Falcon Live Chats, the recordings will be available on-demand on our New Student Orientation YouTube channel.

We acknowledge that this is a big transition for students and families and we are here to help you every step of the way!
