The Bentley Library will have a new Databases A-Z page starting in January 2020. The new Databases A-Z page will offer increased functionality and some additional features. Here are some of the highlights:

Kick off the new year with a new book, audiobook, movie or TV series! We've just posted our new acquisitions lists for December. Go to the New Books & DVDs page to browse the new arrivals by subject or format. When you see something you want, click the “Request” button to place a hold on it.

The library's hours for the period of January 2 - January 12, 2020, which includes wintersession classes, are:

Saturday, January 4 & Sunday, January 5:
CLOSED

Monday, January 6 - Thursday, January 9
8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Friday, January 10
8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, January 11 & Sunday, January 12
CLOSED

Due to the storm, Bentley University has announced that campus will have a delayed opening at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17. The Library will suspend 24-hour access; closing at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday 12/17. Weather permitting, we will reopen at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Please note the following changes to the library's hours for the days after finals end and before Winter Break begins:

After fielding a number of requests, we are thrilled to announce that we have added The Institute of Contemporary Art: Boston to the museum pass program! After incorporating in 1936, the museum spent decades moving from spot to spot around Boston before opening its flagship location in Boston’s Seaport District in 2006.

The library is hosting four events on Reading Day (Tuesday, December 10) to encourage you to take some time off from studying to reboot your mind and body. Please drop in to as many as you can throughout the day.

Due to the storm, the University is opening at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3. The Library will open at 3:00 p.m. and close at our normal closing time, 2:00 a.m.

The library’s 24-hour access for final exams begins at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, December 9 (the day before Reading Day) and ends at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18 (the last day of exams), with exceptions on Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday 12/13 the library will close at midnight and on Saturday 12/14 the library will close at 9:00 p.m.
