When it comes to return on investment, Bentley University is ranked no. 8 in the country ahead of Harvard, Yale, Duke and Georgetown, according to a new U.S. News and World Report ranking.

The value of a bachelor's degree from Bentley is $312,000 per student 10 years after graduation and $3,830,000 after 40 years post-graduation.

The ranking highlights Bentley’s emphasis on successful outcomes for its students. For more than 20 years, 97–99% have been employed or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation. The Pulsifer Career Development Center has been ranked #1 in the country by Princeton Review for the last two years and has been among the top five for Best Career Services since 2014.

The U.S. News ranking is based on data from Georgetown University's Center on Education and the Workforce, which analyzed the return on investment for 4,600 colleges. The return on investment was calculated by comparing the cost of attending a college to a student’s earnings over their career.
