On Display: Celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month
May 31, 2023
This June we are celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month with a book and film display that emphasizes intersectional queer communities. In curating titles for this display, we sought to feature authors, individuals, characters, and stories that represent the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and highlight intersecting identities and experiences. You'll find a variety of works—bestsellers, classics, memoirs, essays, histories, documentaries, and movies—that explore the intersections of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, and more.
Visit the library to view more than 100 books and films pulled from the stacks. If you can’t make it to the library you can browse the display online via our curated collections page and login to your library account to place holds and pin items for later. Prefer electronic format or want to see all that is available? Use the Library Search to discover additional books, eBooks and audiobooks, streaming films, and more available for reading and viewing from the Bentley Library.
If you need help searching please contact the Reference Desk. If you think we've missed something or have a recommendation please email refdesk@bentley.edu or use the Suggest a Purchase form.
The LGBTQ+ Pride Month Book & Film Display is co-curated by Bentley Library and the Pride Month Planning Committee.
